Tuesday, Nov 17 there will be a school assembly featuring the Washington 7/8 Orchestra, Band and Choir.

also...the same day, Tues., Nov. 17th is the required evening performance for the Washington 6,7 and 8 Bands.  All grades 6, 7 and 8 grade Band musicians are to be in the Band Room at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, Nov 17th to tune up for our 6:30 p.m. evening performance.  Donations will be taken at the door for this performance.  Wear your khakis and your black music polo to the performances.

Friday, November 6th from 7-9 p.m. is our first dance of the year! The theme will be Wash out, so wear any Washington clothing or white and blue clothing. We will have the dance in the North Cafeteria and dodgeball in the South Gym. The deadline to sign up your dodgeball team is Thursday, Novmember 6th at 8:00 a.m. Dodgeball teams can consist of 10 people and you can pick up a form to sign up when you getyour ticket. Tickets for the dance are $5 or 4$ for renaissance members. They will be sold at lunch Monday-Friday next week.

Candidates and campaign managers ONLY-you will meet during HB in the LRC on  Thursday, Nov. 5, during HB. See you then!

During the school day, students are to first receive teacher and office permission to use the phone in the office. Use of the office phone should be defined to school-related matters. Cell phones are not permitted for use in school after 7:45 a.m. You are not allowed to text or call during class or while passing in the hallways. If it is necessary to bring a cell phone to school it cannot interrupt the learning environment. Electronic devices such as, Kindles and Nooks may be used at the
discretion of the classroom teacher. Students are not allowed to have their cell phones out at any
time during the day, unless you are given prior permission from a staff member. If a staff member sees you with your cell phone out, and you did not get prior approval your phone will be turned into the main office.
-First offense the student may pick up their phone at the end of the school day from the main office.-Second and any offense thereafter a parent/guardian will need to come into school and pick up the cell phone from the main office.
