Band musicians in grades 6-8 will combined to March in the Dubuque Halloween Parade on Monday, Oct 26. The parade line is at Jackson Park at 5:30 p.m. a The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at Washington Park. All musicians are to pick your permission slip and return it to the office or Mrs. Stevens. School appropriate costumes may be worn/no masks. Musicians are responsible to bring your instrument home the day of the parade and get it back to school the following day. The Band will be playing The Monster Mash.

During the school day, students are to first receive teacher and office permission to use the phone in the office. Use of the office phone should be defined to school-related matters. Cell phones are not permitted for use in school after 7:45 a.m. You are not allowed to text or call during class or while passing in the hallways. If it is necessary to bring a cell phone to school it cannot interrupt the learning environment. Electronic devices such as, Kindles and Nooks may be used at the
discretion of the classroom teacher. Students are not allowed to have their cell phones out at any
time during the day, unless you are given prior permission from a staff member. If a staff member sees you with your cell phone out, and you did not get prior approval your phone will be turned into the main office.
