We
are super lucky to have the Gay Straight Alliance in our school and members are
planning to get started with meetings soon. We hope to see returning members,
as well as some new faces this year too. GSA is a judgement free group for all
students to feel comfortable being themselves. In this group we will have open
discussions, participate in a variety of activities, and get involved in the

Here's a quick reminder to students to do the
attendance check-in on Infinite Campus. Always Online students enrolled in
Edgenuity need to do this daily. Hybrid students need to do this on virtual
learning days at home. Set yourself a reminder so you won't forget!
The Visual and Performing Arts or VPA team has been hard at work developing a plan for this year's program and while we cannot do a large musical as we have in the past, we are still looking forward to offering some theatre experiences throughout the year in a socially distanced and safe format! We are currently offering 6 different activities in which students may participate. As spaces are limited, students will be asked to rank their choices and we will place students while taking preferences into account.
Students will participate only on days they
attend school in person and fully online students will be assigned a day to
attend. The descriptions of each event
and when the group will meet and rehearse are included in the online sign up
form which can be found on the Wash website.
Please check with your parents or guardians before signing up to make
sure you can commit to the activity and make sure to list all conflicts you may
have with rehearsal times on your sign up form.
